Turn right and follow the main road through the village, pass under the railway bridge and round the bend. The road to Hellifield Station is signposted on your right. Seats made of former sleepers can be seen alongside the path as well as occasional old concrete supports for the former overhead electrical cables. The flatter area on the right of the path a few hundreds yard s beyond the bridge is the site of the former Scale Hall station.
