Guided walks are organised by the Friends of the Settle-Carlisle Line. The walks are to encourage use of the rail services and are designed to have an enjoyable and informative day out.Guided walks are FREE of CHARGE and open to all, although non-rail users are invited to make A DONATION.Walks are fully guided throughout starting and finishing at a station.
No booking is required. To join a walk, purchase a rail ticket, alight at the station stated in the leaflet. The leaders will meet you on the platform, after alighting from the train and can be identified by their badge.Walks are never cancelled unless unforeseen circumstances arise.
